Wedding Triptych no. 2

For my wedding I wanted to represent us and our union in an artistic way that would invoke emotion and imagination. I made a triptych that was displayed at the reception. I also wanted a little bit of logo branding--in this case the windmill because our wedding has a Moulin Rouge theme--to tie the pieces of the triptych together along with other things that I made for the wedding such as our invitations, props, signs, and cards at the reception.

This portrait of myself was done entirely in Adobe Illustrator CS5, then sent off to be an 8x10 print. Framed and put on a fancy easel it formed the right wing of the triptych. The quote is from the song "Come What May" which was our first dance.
